Treatment and prevention of tick, flea, and lice infestations in dogs and cats 2 days or older. – Fipronil rapidly kills ticks, preventing the development of the parasite and the possible transmission of infections carried by the tick. It is active against the main tick species present in Italy, including Ixodes ricinus, responsible for the transmission of Lyme disease to dogs, cats, and humans. – Fipronil rapidly kills adult fleas, thus preventing egg laying and subsequent infestations. Thanks to its lethal effect on adult fleas, fipronil effectively helps control and resolve Flea Allergy Dermatitis (FAD), which, in dogs and cats, is caused by the sensitizing action of antigens contained in the saliva of these parasites. – Fipronil also, with a single treatment, quickly and definitively controls and resolves lice infestations in dogs and cats, in particular those caused by Trichodectes canis, the dog chewing louse, and Felicola subrostratus, the cat chewing louse. RECOMMENDED APPLICATION: 2-4 sprays for each kg of weight.
